Put on your walking shoes and join us for an invigorating hike up the hill at the Mare Island Preserve. We will be walking on pavement, so soggy gound will not be an issue. We'll dip down a bit into the old golf course after we ascend the hill. On the return trip back down the hill, people can take time to explore the Mare Island Cemetery. There will be an option to go out to lunch afterward. Diane will be happy to take people to her favorite lunch spot in Vallejo, Provisions.

 

Meet us in the Mare Island Preserve parking lot at the foot of Railroad Avenue at 9:30 am. There are porta-potties there, but no water. Bring your water bottle. If you want to carpool, check with others who have signed up or opt to meet in the 9th St. lot in Benicia to carpool at 9:15 am. Diane can take 3 in her car.
