CARQUINEZ VILLAGE FUNDS
We are grateful to all of our donors and supporters who are making a difference in the lives of our older adults. They illustrate the principle that “It takes a village.” Every gift, no matter how large or small, is significant. All donations are tax-deductible (EIN: 47-4133336). General Support Fund
We welcome contributions to our general operations and to support the activities and services that we provide for our members. We want you to know that we are cautious in our financial management and careful in the use of our donors’ contributions.

Volunteer Support Fund
Our volunteers are amazing! They never stop giving. Our drivers, for example, are dogged in their determination to assist our members. Not only are they giving their time, but they are covering the cost of gas. In today’s high cost of fuel, this is expensive, especially considering that our drivers are driving week after week, month after month, and year after year.  We would like to be able to surprise them with a gift of support.

Individual Choice Fund
If you have a particular interest, we are glad to direct your donation to a specific area of your choice.  For example, you might wish to have your contribution go to support our volunteers or benefit our “Safety for Seniors” program that would help members pay for the installation of grab bars or other safety features in their home or be directed toward the hiring of our first staff member. (At this point, Carquinez Village is managed by volunteers.)

Note
When you are 70½ or older, a new way of making a donation is available to you, an IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER DONATION to Carquinez Village directly through your IRA. It may help to lower your income taxes on your IRA withdrawals while providing a charitable gift.
